APPRECIATING 'A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC' IN MELBOURNE

What better way to spend a warm summer night in Melbourne, than to evoke memories of a midsummer night in Sweden and enjoy a production of Sondheim’s musical, A Little Night Music?

The story revolves around the four main characters: an ageing actress, a married virgin, a sex-starved divinity student and a buffoonish count. Created by company Watch This, the show is one of Sondheim’s most memorable works and features the unforgettable song Send in the Clowns among many others.

Created under the watchful eye of Director Nicholas Cannon with musical direction by Daniele Buatti and choreography by Michael Ralph, this production features an impressive collection of well-known local artists including Nadine Garner, John O'May, Carina Waye, Nelson Gardner, Eddie Muliaumaseali'i, JohannaAllen, Jackie Rees, and Grace O’Donnell-Clancy.

A repertory company showcasing Sondheim works, Watch This is a bold, grassroots organisation presenting outstanding, sophisticated musical theatre to audiences in Melbourne and regional Victoria including the Geelong Performing Arts Centre and Whitehorse Centre as well as to the National Theatre Melbourne from 22 February - 10 March 2018.
