BALLARAT WINTER FESTIVAL REMINDS US OF THE CHARMS OF THE SEASON
The magic of winter comes alive at this year’s Ballarat Winter Festival on from 29 June to 21 July!
Hosting a special array of events and activities on during the heart of winter, the festival is sure to prove that winter is the most wonderful time of the year, offering activities like the ‘Winter Wonderlights’ event – where all your Christmases come at once.
Lighting up historic Sovereign Hill’s shops with colours and trees, the streets become magical Christmas scenes, as the cold weather presents snow!
Other activities include the Winteractive Arcade, offering the technology fans a range of games and the ability to immerse yourself in augmented reality, among other techy favourites and the Ballarat Activated Artwalk, which tells the story of the hidden laneways and buildings of historic Ballarat all viewable through the Activated Artwalk Map, and also available through the ‘EyeJack’ App.
