For being a huge superstar, and famous since his 1994 hit of Loser – Beck is surprisingly unknown to many young music fans in the under 25-year old bracket.
However, now the now multi Grammy Award-winning singer is coming to Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra for the first time in five years.
Regarded as one of the most versatile artists around, and considered a reluctant generational spokesperson for the 1990s for his song Loser, he has continued in his own unpredictable manner, and blazed a trail of all manners and eras of music, with a path into the future while also foraging through the past.
Beck's new album, Colors
Presenting his latest album Colors – which (interestingly) is considered his ‘sunniest’ album yet which was parked when Trump won the presidency (more information here).
His one Melbourne concert promises to deliver all the music from his 2014’s Morning Phase whichtook Album of the Year at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, as well as Best Rock Album and Best Engineered Album.
Recently performing to a sold-out North American tour and accepting U2’s invitation to appear as special guest on the September leg of The Joshua Tree Tour, this will be one concert not to miss!
