Working with the idea that Beyond Perception is an inquiry into that which exists beyond what we perceive, Melbourne based street artist, Peter Seaton known as ‘CTO’ has opened an exhibition space showing his own series of original works.

The exhibition is taking place in a huge Port Melbourne warehouse. Spanning over 1000 sqm, this multi-room immersion into the inner workings of CTO, his work and passion explore what lies beyond perception.

The show gives a detailed insight into Peter’s career to date, including a number of large scale murals painted across Melbourne as well as a body of studio based oil, aerosol and screen painting works.

Featuring a collaborative 3D sculptural / video installation with his brother - audio visual artist George Seaton (Suphi). The event is set to help Melburnians dive deep into the mind of CTO and what lies beyond perception.

Exploring the recent interest of NFT’s, (NFTs are a digital asset that represents real-world objects like art, music, in-game items, etc) Seaton will allow buyers to create an NFT with the physical artwork using an NFC chip which allows the viewer to tap the embedded chip on the side of the artwork. They will then have the option to enter a smart contract validated by blockchain technology which gives a percentage split on the sale of the NFT through leading NFT hosting website - Makersplace.

Peter 'CTO' Seaton is a Melbourne based, Contemporary artist. Studying fine Art at Whitecliffe college of Art and Design developing a comprehensive understanding of the gallery space, Peter felt he wanted to make art available to the general public.

He has delivered work around Australia, New Zealand, USA, South America, Europe and Asia. However, a high concentration of his work can be found on the walls within the inner city suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.
