HOMEWARD FOUND GIVES NEW MEANING TO BEING AT ‘HOME’

Offering a new take on what it means to be at home, Homeward Found is the latest exhibition by VS Gallery and is on from the 13 to 23 December 2018.

Created with the brief of ‘What does ‘home’ mean to you?', this new exhibition brings together the work of more than 60 artists forming one of largest independent exhibitions of Asian urban, underground, street and graffiti artists to ever be held in Australia. The exhibition will feature works in both traditional and new media.

Homeward Found brings to Melbourne some of the finest established and emerging talent from 12 countries. Showcasing the vibrant creativity of our immediate neighbours, the exhibition is the first in a planned series of events and collaborations, titled The Sojourn Project, with this exhibition aiming to strengthen the ties between artists across the Australian-Asian region through collaboration, exchange and communication.

Curated by Facter and Invurt.com the Homeward Found will host artists such as Peap Tarr (CM), Heesco (MO/AU), Lisa Mam (CM), Sheep Chen (CN), Rainbo (HK), Mikhaela Cherry (ID), Luise Ono (JP), among many others. The location itself at VS Gallery is a dynamic new art gallery and event space located in North Richmond.
