DANIEL CONNELL - "BIT OF SHUSH"
For Melbournians, the name Daniel Connell conjures up the image of a great Irish Pub so what better introduction than that for eponymous Australian comedian?
Noted for his low-key and lay-back Aussie style comedy, Daniel Connell’s show is a plea for a "bit of shush” from the constant bombardment of modern day “political correctness”.
In his current show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival 2108, he focuses on some of the more mundane “First World” problems that we all face in our daily lives that includes topics dear to all our hearts – superhuman mums, gourmet sausages, public transport and the ever-present aussie hoons.
We all crave some “peace and quiet” in our modern lives, so grab your tickets for Daniel Connell’s show and enjoy a “bit of shush” in true Aussie style and have a laugh along the way!

G’DAY COMRADE! – YOUR RUSSIAN GAGS SORTED!
There are SO many social differences you never consider when you are new to Australia from another country, and these are all present in G’DAY COMRADE one of the shows for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival!
The intelligent, ridiculous and absurd all mix in here together to get the contrast of cultures between Australians, with our love for Tim Tams, laidback attitude and indirect communication alongside the Russian culture of vodka, dancing and Dostoyevsky.
Clichés aside, there are many hilarious observations in this comedy show, and for being a relatively new crew of comedians, Gosha Bodryi (QLD RAW semi-finalist), Gleb Tugushev (Moscow comedy regular) Kaychu (QLD RAW finalist) and special guest Kirill Sietlov (an uncrowned King of the Moscow comedy scene). This is one show not to miss!
