Melbourne is once again hosting the Piknic Électronik series, beginning weekly from the 4th of February to the 8th of April 2018. This year’s DJ series began with a New Year’s Day event on the 1st of January.
Promoted as a cutting-edge, quality electronic music event, it combines some of the best qualities about Melbourne in a friendly, welcoming environment. Aimed at advancing the range and quality of electronic music on offer, Piknic tries to expand the genre boundaries of this music and give an immersive experience, welcoming electronic enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
Selection of food trucks available
Held at the new location Sidney Myer Music Bowl, this kid-friendly event will have a range of bar and food truck selections on offer, alongside well-known international and local DJs. This is a 100% outdoor event.
The first Sunday session on the 4 February will feature DJs Luke Hess, Molly, Dylan Griffin, Luke Stein and Tim Koren, with music on till 9pm.
A few DJs for Piknic Electronik 2018
Piknic Électronik is part of a larger international party series that started in Montreal, and which has spread to Barcelona in 2012, Melbourne and Dubai in 2014 and Santiago in 2015.
This year is the fourth year Piknic Électronik has been held in Melbourne.
