MPAVILION EXAMINES 'WHAT IS HOME?'

Presenting a special collaboration between MPavilion and the Royal College of Art (London), a five-day symposium will be held from the 11th to the 15th of February 2020, exploring the concept of ‘the home’ and ideas for future housing.


The symposium will be steered by Dr Tarsha Finney an architectural urbanist, and the program lead on the City Design MA, School of Architecture at the Royal College of Art(RCA).


Presented by the RACV, these workshops comprise of talks from local experts, visits to sites of significance, and presentations from City Futures MA students.


During the week long symposium, students from the RCA’s City Design MA Program will be researching shared housing and the modern family. At the end of the week, the students will present workshops and panels on the future of housing in Australia and beyond.


Throughout February, MPavilion will be presenting numerous events relating to the earth, sustainability and place.
