RMIT'S FINE ART GRADUATE AUCTION SHOWS TALENT IN COHORT


RMIT Fine Art Auction 2018

Offering the works of artists such as Wilma Tobacco, David Thomas and Louise Blyton in addition to works by students graduating in RMIT’s Bachelor of Fine Arts 2019 - the inaugural RMIT Fine Art Auction provides a great opportunity to start your own art collection with some of Australia’s most esteemed artists and next generation of emerging artists' works on offer this Thursday night, the 19th of September. 

With over 30 works by prolific Australian creatives being auctioned live at 7pm from as little as $250, and numerous student works up for grabs in the Silent Auction from 5pm from just $30 you’re sure to bag a bargain.


To top it off, local business Das Automat has collaborated with students to produce a selection of single run, limited edition tote bags plus there’ll be the usual fundraising raffle – with a major glow up! Featuring prizes from Heide Museum of Modern Art, Cinema Nova, Rice Paper Scissors and Third Drawer Down.

Gage Roads Brewery and Remedy Kombucha have teamed up to provide you with $3 beverages and Peninsula locals Troll Creek and Rusden Winery’s are supplying their own boutique wine selection for the same price.

The night's events and all proceeds will go towards the 2019 Fine Art Graduate Exhibition so regardless of where you spend your money, you can rest assure it’s off to a good cause.
